Every food and drink place we can pin, district by district. Local operators on record are printed in full colour. Chains are left off; switch them on in the key, or search for one to find local places like it. Pick a district, then a neighborhood, to open it as a model.
A place is pinned when research has verified it, or when it matches an LA County restaurant or market health permit. Listings with neither could be a home kitchen or a truck, so they’re counted, not pinned. Long Beach, Pasadena and Vernon issue their own permits, and our listings stop north of Santa Clarita, so those areas are mostly empty for now.
